MuseArt Terre Haute is delighted to announce our 3rd Anniversary Art Exhibition! We invite artists of all levels to showcase their talents and compete for the chance to have work displayed at MuseArt Terre Haute from July until October 2025, among other prizes. This year’s theme, "RE:Vision | Look Again," is about looking again. Revisiting your creative roots. Reflecting on how your voice, style, or process has changed. Or charting a bold course forward—through a piece that represents your future as an artist.

Contest Details:

Eligibility: The contest is open to all artists over 16 years old, including professionals, amateurs, and students, from the Wabash Valley. 2D pieces must be installation ready and prepared to be hanged (must weigh less than 10 lbs with frame, wire or claw accepted). We reserve the right to reject pieces not properly prepared for display.

Accepted Mediums:
Drawing | Painting | Mixed Media | Ceramics/Sculpture/Glass | Photography | Digital Art/Digital Illustration

Theme: "RE:Vision | Look Again."
We invite submissions that explore:

  • Reimagined versions of past works or ideas

  • New pieces that reflect artistic growth or transformation

  • Works that pair past and present, or imagine what’s ahead

  • Explorations of memory, process, identity, or evolution

Submission Guidelines:
Entry Fee: Free
Submission Limit: Each artist may submit up to Three (3) Pieces
Format: Digital images of the artwork must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format. Each image should be no larger than 5MB.
Description: Each submission must include a brief description (up to 200 words) detailing the artwork’s concept and connection to the theme. MUST ALSO INCLUDE DIMENSIONS.

Judging Criteria: Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and interpretation of the theme.

Accepted Artists will be notified July 7th-8th via EMAIL and given further instructions.

Awards:

Accepted artists will have their work exhibited at MuseArt Terre Haute from July 22nd to October 4th, 2025

Top Works: Artists of Top Works will each receive an Art Supplies Gift Basket, as well as a giftcard to MuseArt!

People’s Choice: People’s Choice will be awarded at the end of the exhibition, as the public will vote on their favorite work which will receive their own gift basket!

Best in Show: Best in Show will be awarded to judge’s choice, winning a Personalized Art Supplies Prize Package!

Awards will be given out at the Exhibition’s closing reception (Date TBA)

*Artists chosen will also have the chance to sell their work at the Art Exhibition as well as hanging in MuseArt. Details will be sent with acceptance email.
